What and How We Eat Defines Our Health

The way we nourish our bodies shapes not just our energy and appearance — it defines our health, our emotions, and our ability to heal.

There was a time when my daily diet was very different from how I live now.
I used to eat junk food, sweets, white bread, cheese, and highly processed products — without thinking much about the effects on my body.
It was easy, quick, familiar — but deep inside, it was feeding inflammation, fatigue, and imbalance.

The Turning Point: Meeting My Healer

Everything changed after meeting my healer.
Through her wisdom and guidance, I learned that true healing starts inside, with the choices we make every day at the table.

I made the decision to completely transform the way I nourish myself:
• I stopped eating processed foods and anything packed in plastic containers.
• I eliminated sugar, dairy, and gluten — understanding how they fuel inflammation and disrupt gut and thyroid health.
• I moved away from foods that fill the body with toxins, and toward foods that fill the body with life.

Embracing a Mediterranean Healing Lifestyle

Since I live in Cyprus, a land blessed with pure natural ingredients, I aligned my diet with the beautiful principles of the Mediterranean diet — simple, seasonal, whole, and close to the earth.

Today, my nourishment is based on:
• Organic vegetables and fruits, always according to the season, rich in color, flavor, and life force.
• Walnuts and almonds, full of natural healthy fats, supporting brain, thyroid, and hormonal balance.
• Organic products from Ayia Skepi, knowing the hands that grow and produce what I eat.
• Fresh fish and naturally raised organic chicken, providing clean protein without added hormones or toxins.
• Sweet potatoes, fresh vegetables, and abundant salads, rich in fiber, antioxidants, and vitamins.
• Organic goat kefir, supporting my gut and immune system.
• Raw honey and chia seeds, offering gentle natural energy and deep nourishment.

Every meal becomes a healing ritual — a gift of love to my body.

Living Clean Beyond Food

Healing is not only about what we eat — it’s also about what we avoid and how we live:
• I try not to use plastic in my daily life, choosing glass, stainless steel, and natural materials instead.
• We installed a water filter at home, ensuring that every drop we drink is pure.
• I always carry my water in a glass bottle, close to nature and free from chemical exposure.
• I avoid smoky environments, protecting my lungs, blood, and energy.
• I stopped drinking alcohol, respecting my body’s need for clarity and vitality — only allowing myself 2–3 times a year a small celebratory glass, consciously and joyfully.

At home, we cook with natural pots and pans without synthetic coatings — respecting the purity of the ingredients we use.

And one of the simplest and purest treasures:
We use virgin olive oil, and pure honey, produced lovingly by my uncle in the village — a connection to my family, my roots, and the deep wisdom of nature.
